Congratulations if you're off to a group interview 🥳
Please do not confirm more than spot in your group interview time slot, this isn't a great first impression and it will NOT increase your chances of getting the job. Confirmations are sent as soon as you book in. If you think you've booked a slot but don't have any confirmation please email us at hello@weirdlyhub.com and we can check for you.
Now you've booked your one spot its time to get prepping for the interview so you can make a great impression on the day. For help with this, check out these articles about prepping for your interview.
How does a Group Interview work exactly?
There'll likely be more than one interviewer in the room when you arrive. This is the same whether you're doing a face-to-face group interview or a video version. It's just in the face-to-face version, the room is a real physical one, and in the video version it's a "virtual room" (like in a zoom call).
They'll do a meet and greet, introduction and then spilt the big group into smaller ones. If you're in a video group interview, you might be given a link to click into a smaller "room". If this is the case, your interviewer should make this really easy - just follow their instructions and you'll be ok.
Once you've been broken into the smaller groups, you will then be interviewed with the others in your small group. This gives you a much better chance to stand out and make a great impression on your interviewer. The interview style itself will vary by employer.
